Rivalfall is a competitive browser RPG. Build a character, train your stats, collect and equip gear, fight other players, complete challenges, and work with a clan.

Choose your class, review your character stats, and begin with training battles. Training is a good way to learn combat and strengthen your character before entering the Arena.

Yes. Rivalfall runs in a modern web browser and its interface adapts to phones, tablets, and desktop screens.

Training lets you practise against computer-controlled opponents. The Arena matches you with other players and contributes to competitive progress and rankings.

Stamina powers training and combat actions. Arena tokens are used when searching for opponents. Your current amounts are shown in the status bar and recover over time.

Your character is sent to the hospital for a recovery period. You can watch the recovery timer from the Character page and may be offered ways to return sooner.

Check that you have enough health, stamina, and any tokens required by the mode. Active hospital recovery, another battle in progress, or a temporary connection issue can also prevent a fight.

Gain experience, improve your stats, equip stronger items, advance your class mastery, and complete challenges and events. Different builds reward different combinations, so compare item details before equipping gear.

Mastery is permanent progression tied to each class. Combat earns mastery experience and unlocks class-specific bonuses that remain through gear changes and other resets.

Items can come from shops, battles, challenges, events, chests, and player or clan systems. Open Inventory to compare, equip, or sell the gear you own.

Each challenge or event shows its own remaining time and reward conditions. Check those panels before the timer ends, and claim completed rewards while they are available.

Clans let players chat, work toward shared objectives, contribute to research, exchange eligible gifts, and take part in clan competition.

Open the Clans page and browse available groups. Open clans can be joined directly; invite-only clans require an application that their leadership can review.

Use the available in-game reporting controls or send the team a message through the official contact form. Include the player name and a clear description of what happened.

Use a current version of Chrome, Edge, Firefox, or Safari. JavaScript, cookies, and local storage must be enabled for sign-in, preferences, and live game updates to work correctly.

On supported browsers, you can install Rivalfall from the browser menu or use “Add to Home Screen” on mobile. The installed version still needs an internet connection to play.

Live gameplay uses a persistent connection to the server. On mobile, locking your phone or leaving the browser can pause the page and disconnect that connection. This is expected, and the game should reconnect automatically when you unlock your phone and return to the browser. Network changes, brief outages, VPNs, proxies, and restrictive firewalls can also interrupt the connection. If it does not recover after returning to the game, check your connection and reload once.

Refresh the page first. If the old version remains, close every open Rivalfall tab and reopen the game. As a final step, clear this site’s cached data in your browser settings, then sign in again.

Check the options under Settings and confirm that your browser allows notifications, sound, and background activity for the site. Mobile power-saving modes and browser autoplay rules may delay alerts until you interact with the page.

The main controls are designed for keyboard navigation and labelled for assistive technology. You can move through controls with Tab and activate buttons with Enter or Space. Please report any inaccessible control through the contact form.

Rivalfall, is written primarily in JavaScript and runs on Node.js, with HTML and CSS used for the game interface. As of version 0.8.0, the current codebase contains approximately 57,000 lines across 201 source and supporting files and occupies around 5.9 MB.

WebSockets keep an open connection between your browser and the game server. This allows battles, chat, notifications, and player updates to arrive immediately without repeatedly refreshing the page.

Account progress is saved on the Rivalfall server. Your browser also stores limited preferences and temporary interface state. Clearing browser data may reset local preferences or sign you out, but it should not erase server-saved character progress.

Passwords are protected using modern password-hashing techniques designed to make stored credentials difficult to recover. Rivalfall does not store your original password, and support will never ask you to send it.

No. Automated play, macros, bots, packet manipulation, and unofficial clients that interact with the game are prohibited because they can create an unfair advantage or harm the service. See the Terms of Service for the complete rules.

Use a unique password, keep your login details private, and review active sessions in Settings. Rivalfall accounts are personal and should not be shared.
